Traveling around the world is an expensive hobby, both in time and money. I can’t do it as often as I’d like, but I still take every travel opportunity that I can manage. It can really shake up your ideas about the world when you see other cultures compared to your own.

I’ve made it a goal in my life to visit as many countries as I can, and I plan on continuing to learn about new places for as long as I can. Out of all the countries I’ve seen, however, one of them stands out as a truly exciting and interesting place.

I traveled to Spain two years ago and it definitely the best trip of my life so far. Out of all the countries I’ve seen, Spain is easily my favorite.

Located in Southern Europe, Spain has a one-of-a-kind culture that can’t be found anywhere else. It has a lot to offer visitors; here are just a few of its great qualities and locations.

The country has coasts on its South and East sides, with the Mediterranean Sea lying out to the East. There are some beautiful port towns, like Barcelona and Valencia, and there are great beaches all along the coastal regions as well.

The Costa del Sol is the Southern cost of Spain, and it’s the home of many beautiful resort cities. Marbella is one such resort town, offering many places for tourists to stay and enjoy the beach.

Madrid was my favorite part of the country, however. It’s a modern city with influence from traditional Spanish culture. The combination makes for an authentic, exciting Spanish city with a lot to offer.

You’ll always find something to do in Madrid, whether it’s eating at the great restaurants, doing some shopping, or being a part of the nightlife. There’s never any shortage of excitement in the city.

These are just a few of the attractions in Spain; there are many more exciting places to see, and I plan on discussing them more in the future. You really can’t go wrong visiting Spain – it’s a beautiful country and you’re guaranteed to love it.
