Thinking about holidays to Cuba? Varadero, situated on the North coast of the province of Matanzas, Cuba, Hicacos peninsula, was not always the world famous beach of the Caribbean which we all wish to visit.

The first to discover the wonders of the area were Aboriginal, judging by the existence of pictograms which appear to reproduce the image of the Spanish conqueror. And although it is not certainly known when was the arrival of the conquistadores at this beach, already in 1555 a French geographer Testu map reflects, clear and almost faithfully, the current territory of Varadero.

The first attempt to create a settlement dates back from 1815. It was finally in 1883 when the first community was founded. However, the beautiful beach was virtually unknown in the rest of the island, mainly because of road communications and also because the fashion at the time was spending the summer in Europe.

Since the first decade of the 20th century, some Americans recognized the magnificent natural conditions of Varadero beach and were attracted by its magnificent qualities. The First World War closed the European spas, forcing the rich Cubans to turn their eyes to Varadero and that is how it all started.

And so Varadero became really popular. In the 1980s was one of the favourite beaches in Cuba for domestic tourism.

So far Varadero has seen the rise of hundreds of hotels managed by the Cuban Governet and dozens of reputable international hotel chains such as Sol Melia, LTI, RIU, horizons, Iberostar, Grand Caribbean, among others. Diving Centers, supermarkets, restaurants and nightclubs have opened, and resources for the enjoyment of various nautical and land-based activities, rent of bicycles, motorcycles and cars have been implemented.

The seaside resort of Varadero reached the figure of one million foreign visitors in 2011, figure that for the fourth consecutive year records the main beach holiday destination in Cuba.

Whether you are on your way to an important meeting or going on vacation, you may want to take a private plane charter. Chartered flights provide many advantages over traditional public flights, benefits that can save time, make the flight more enjoyable, and provide the utmost safety and security.

The first thing you will realize about a chartered flight is that you get to head right out and board the plane without having to deal with the hectic airport, and you will never have to worry about lengthy delays and layovers that leave you feeling stranded. When you have to check in for a chartered flight, all you will have to do is provide an appropriate form of identification and have someone get your luggage onboard, and you are good to go. Furthermore, since private aircraft aren’t restricted to landing solely on commercial airstrips, you have a much larger array of places where you can land and fuel up, so you can get from one place to the next in no time at all.

If you like to have total control of your trips, like where your plane lands and what time it takes off again, you would really enjoy chartering a jet, since they give you that decision making power. If you need to be somewhere on a specific day, a day that your local commercial airline may not be flying to that destination, you can still get a private plane to take you there. This single feature is practically a necessity for a major corporation who has a lot of business trips to take and serious meetings that come up without much notice.

Chartered flights also provide you a kind of privacy and personal security that anyone on a commercial airliner could only dream of, because you will never be stuck aboard a plane with dozens of complete strangers and will only be flying with your colleagues and the crew. Since you can sit around and hold an open meeting without random people overhearing, you can go over all of your top secret business matters freely. If you are carrying anything of extreme importance or remarkable value, you won’t have to run the risk of it getting lost or stolen, because all of your belongings will be with you every step of the way.

As anyone can see there are several benefits of private plane charter when compared to commercial air travel. Anyone who wishes to enjoy their flight for a change should investigate charter flights next time they decide to take to the skies.
